Job summary

Turner Industries is seeking an E&I Technician for a position in the Axis, AL area. The Instrument Technician conducts calibration of instrumentation both electronic and pneumatic, field and control room, and installation of instrument loops.

Non-exempt role; Reports to the Foreman; Assigned duties according to procedures; work is checked frequently. Responsibilities include calibrating instruments, maintaining loop drawings, and coordinating startup and loop checks.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of experience in instrumentation/calibration.
• Post offer drug/alcohol screen and policy acceptance.
• Comply with site safety requirements.
• Must be able to work safely in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate electronic and pneumatic instruments in field and control room.
• Install instrument loops and maintain loop drawings.
• Coordinate loop checks and startup procedures; assist as needed.
• Inspect meters, gauges, and controllers for accuracy and reliability.
• Replace defective parts and perform routine maintenance on instruments.
