Job summary

Valar Atomics is hiring an Instrumentation & Controls Technician to install, calibrate, and repair electrical and instrumentation systems for our nuclear energy applications. You will work in a highly regulated environment, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning support.

The role requires 3+ years of industrial electrical or instrumentation experience, plus NEC/ISA familiarity. Onsite work with a strong safety culture and cross-functional collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or technical certification in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Industrial Maintenance.
• 3+ years of industrial electrical or instrumentation experience.
• Familiarity with NEC, ISA standards, NFPA 70.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, and maintain electrical, instrumentation, and controls systems.
• Troubleshoot wiring and process control loops in a regulated nuclear environment.
• Read schematics, P&IDs, and panel layouts to support commissioning.
• Perform LOTO procedures during maintenance and repair.
• Collaborate with engineers and operators to ensure safe operation.
