Qualifications

• Has typically acquired a Bachelor's degree in engineering in a program accredited by ABET* along with two or more years of related engineering experience.
• Master's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program may be considered for entry at this level.
• An Engineering Technology degree plus PE license may satisfy the degree requirement.

Responsibilities

• Technical Expertise: apply theory to solve well-defined problems under guidance from higher-level engineers.
• Leadership & Guidance: coordinate work activities and learn policies and procedures under supervision.
• Planning & Organization: assist in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling using standard methods.
• Problem Solving & Initiative: analyze routine technical problems and propose new ideas.
• Communication: assist in preparing reports and present ideas clearly, both written and verbal.
• Interpersonal Skills: develop teamwork, share information, and build cooperative relationships.
