Job summary

Idaho National Laboratory is seeking a recent Electrical Engineering graduate to join our Instrumentation and Controls team at the Materials and Fuels Complex in Idaho Falls.

Qualifications

• Applied experience or coursework in circuit design, analog/digital electronics, signals and systems, instrumentation, embedded systems, or data acquisition.
• Experience with industrial automation and programming environments (LabVIEW, PLC languages, HMI platforms).
• Familiarity with English technical documentation and ability to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify requirements and technologies meeting specifications.
• Develop and validate designs, document conformance with codes and standards.
• Create physics-based models and establish testing and quality requirements.
• Oversee fabrication, assembly, and procurement to meet design intent.
• Publish research results to enhance INL’s reputation and user base.
