Job summary

Niagara Region is seeking an Instrumentation and Control Technician to install, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, test and inspect instrumentation and process control equipment used across water and wastewater facilities. The technician supports maintenance planning and keeps detailed records in the CMMS.

Work will be performed at multiple locations in the Niagara Region, with a focus on reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of instrumentation maintenance/automation experience, preferably in water/wastewater.
• Knowledge of PLCs, ladder logic, HART, networks, calibration, testing techniques.
• Must obtain Water Quality Analyst certificate within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, test and inspect instrumentation and process control equipment.
• Contribute to maintenance planning, reliability assessments, and recordkeeping in CMMS.
