Job summary

Linde plc is seeking a skilled instrumentation professional to provide planning and on-site support for critical safety and reliability of control systems at our Niagara Falls operation. You will install, commission, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair instrumentation, perform calibrations, and document all service activities with attention to detail.

The role requires 3+ years in process control instrumentation, strong tools proficiency, and the ability to read P&ID and wiring diagrams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 3 years of experience in process control instrumentation.
• Proficiency with electrical and instrumentation hand tools, meters, calibration equipment, and knowledge of electricity, electrical systems, and motors.
• Ability to read piping and instrumentation diagrams and schematic wiring diagrams while demonstrating strong planning and organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide planning and onsite support focusing on critical safety systems and system reliability.
• Assist in installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of instrumentation and control systems.
• Perform calibrations, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations of instrumentation to ensure accurate and reliable performance.
• Prepare and maintain documentation such as work orders, service reports, and calibration records; execute required administrative tasks.
• Troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain pneumatic and electronic process control instrumentation, including predictive instrumentation with full repair history documentation.
• Utilize control logic drawings to troubleshoot complex process control systems and support continuous improvement of reliability.
