Job summary

SRE Engineering, D.P.C. in NYC is seeking an Instrumentation and Monitoring Program Manager to support construction management on a major NYC DEP infrastructure project.

You will develop and implement an instrumentation and monitoring program for close geotechnical monitoring to keep the site safe during construction. You will track site conditions, coordinate data with the Construction Manager, Resident Engineer, and DEP staff, and flag deviations early to prevent safety issues.

Qualifications

• Background in geotechnical engineering, dam safety, or instrumentation monitoring on heavy civil or water infrastructure projects.
• Previous DEP experience preferred.
• Experience with embankment or slope monitoring instrumentation (piezometers, inclinometers, settlement monuments, or similar).
• Comfort working on an active DEP site alongside a construction management team.
• Reliable personal vehicle required, as this role requires site travel.

SRE Engineering is seeking an Instrumentation and Monitoring Program Manager to support construction management services on an upcoming NYC DEP infrastructure project. This role is central to keeping the site safe throughout construction.
