Job Description

Eramosa International, Inc is a specialist firm providing instrumentation & control and electrical engineering services to the Water and Energy sectors. We offer our clients a holistic approach to developing and implementing technology solutions for process control applications to meet their business requirements. We provide assessment and planning services; conceptual, preliminary, and detailed designs; and commissioning and construction support services. Our full networking, programming/integration, information technology, and SCADA System solutions are provided through our sister company, Eramosa Engineering, Inc. Our team works with clients throughout the project lifecycle and offers ongoing support post system start-up.

Our professionals work remotely on a permanent basis, with travel to client sites as needed. Relocation expenses may be offered to select candidates. The position requires the candidate to be located in Southern California.

We seek individuals interested in a full-time Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) role. The ideal candidate will have experience in I&C and/or Supervisory Controls and Data Acquisition (SCADA) System design, integration, installation, and commissioning. Good command of English, both written and verbal, is essential.

Responsibilities and Skills:

• Basic knowledge of process connections, measurement concepts, and their impact on instruments.
• Development and review of design drawings such as control schematics, installation details, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, I/O Lists, etc.
• Review of vendor drawings for conformance to specifications.
• Technical report writing.
• Ability to work remotely and in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• I&C/SCADA system installation and commissioning experience.
• SCADA network architecture design, including hardware and software documentation.
• Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in SCADA systems.
• PLC/RTU/HMI programming experience.
• Instrumentation application, selection, and installation design.
• Experience with smart instrumentation and networks.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
• Electrical and site safety training (e.g., OSHA 10-hour).
• Knowledge of electrical and construction codes and compliance.
