Department: Sterile Processing

Work Type: Full Time

Shift: Shift 1/8:00:00 AM to 4:30:00 PM

Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$22.78 - $29.62 / hour

Summary

Reports to the Manager or Supervisor of Sterile Processing and works under the supervision of the Lead Instrument Technician. Maintains competency in all areas of Sterile Processing (Decontamination, Assembly, Sterilization, Case Pick) and holds and maintains HSPA CRCST or CBSPD certification. May assist the team with precepting and training. Collaborates with the team to deliver high quality and reliable instrumentation to the surgical services customers and patients. Participates in team huddles and contributes ideas to support continuous improvement and the quality management system. Responsible for adhering to Lee Health and Lee Health System policies and protocols and AAMI, APIC, and AORN standards.

Requirements

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: Minimum 6 months Sterile Processing experience required.

Licensure: none

Certifications: HSPA CRCSTorCBSPD Certification

Other: Read,write, and speak English for work related communication
