Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking an Instrument Technician to disinfect, sterilize, and assemble surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment. The role requires careful recognition of standard instrument trays used in the applicable area.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of Instrument Technician experience. Preferred certifications in central service or sterile processing are noted where applicable.

REQUIRED

1. High school diploma or equivalent education (GED) or post-secondary education.
2. One (1) year experience as an Instrument Technician

PREFERRED

1. Central Service Technician Certification:
   1. Inpatient sterile processing CRCST or CSPDT certification.
   2. Outpatient sterile processing CRCST, CSPDT or CASSPT certification.
   3. For GI Labs, CFER is acceptable.
