Qualifikationen

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in sterile processing or a related field.
• Knowledge of sterilization principles and standard precautions.
• Familiarity with OR and clinic instrumentation workflows.

Aufgaben

• Assist with orientation and daily workflow of new staff. Coordinate daily workflow to ensure timely completion.
• Demonstrate sterilization principles in preparing items for OR/clinic use; operate sterilization equipment per policies.
• Perform decontamination and safety standards; ensure staff understand decontamination principles.
• Function as sterile processing technician and/or endoscopy technician specialist.
• Monitor and inventory supplies to ensure instrumentation availability for OR and clinical areas.
• Maintain quality assurance records and document repairs and maintenance daily.
• Identify missing instrumentation and request replacements as needed.
