Metro Water Recovery in Denver, CO, is seeking a part-time technician to support maintenance and calibration of analytical instruments and benchtop analyses. Work includes field and office duties for up to one year, 20–25 hours per week, with a focus on data analytics and research under senior staff.
The role is temporary, non-benefited, requiring basic lab knowledge, good communication, and ability to work in a team within an active wastewater environment.

This is a part-time assignment that will include field and office work. Hours worked can range between 20 - 25 hours for a period of up to one year, depending on workload and availability of the selected candidate.
Temporary, non-benefited technical position to work exclusively on maintenance and calibration of analytical process control and monitoring instrumentation, benchtop analysis, data analytics, and research efforts. The candidate will work as part of an analytical team executing work under the direction of Technology and Innovation Staff.
Minimum of three semesters of college education with demonstrated academic performance in coursework in the physical and/or biological sciences, civil and/or environmental engineering fields.
Variety of floor surfaces including concrete, gravel, asphalt, dirt, tile, loose stones, uneven surfaces, slippery surfaces, and wet surfaces; Inside environment; Outside environment all year in all weather conditions and temperatures; Residential and commercial wastewater/Biosolids; Chemicals; Lighting conditions including natural light, fluorescent, incandescent, and low light; Vibration; Moving equipment
