Job summary

Guitar Center Inc. is seeking an Instrument Technician to repair musical instruments promptly, returning them to good playing order. Specialists may focus on one instrument type or work across multiple families, with brass/woodwind work preferred.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, an accredited repair-school apprenticeship, English proficiency, and 2 years of instrument repair experience. Benefits and growth opportunities are offered with the Guitar Center family.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Apprenticeship or a diploma for an accredited repair school is required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
• Must be able to use standard repair shop tooling and equipment.
• 2 years of relevant work experience repairing musical instruments daily.

Responsibilities

• Works on rental returned instruments in an efficient & timely manner.
• Ensuring each instrument is repaired according to established quality guidelines
• Maintain accurate records for production reporting
• Additional duties as assigned.
