Job summary

Music & Arts in Norcross, GA is seeking a Technician for the Repair Shop to repair musical instruments quickly and to a high standard. You may specialize in one type of instrument or work on multiple types.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and an apprenticeship or diploma from an accredited repair school, plus the ability to read, write and speak English and to use common repair tools. Two years of daily instrument repair experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Apprenticeship or a diploma from an accredited repair school required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and comprehend English.
• Must be able to use standard repair shop tools and equipment.
• Two years of relevant work experience repairing musical instruments.
• Ability to repair brass, woodwind, percussion and orchestral instruments.

Responsibilities

• Repairs rental instruments in a timely and proficient manner.
• Ensure each instrument is repaired according to quality guidelines.
• Maintain accurate production records.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
