Job summary

Southern Ohio Cleanup Company LLC seeks an USW Instrument Mechanic 1st Class/2nd Class to calibrate, install and troubleshoot instrument systems across the plant. The role requires knowledge of electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic instruments and the ability to instruct the Instrument Mechanic 2nd Class.

Training will be provided for instrument procedures specific to this gaseous diffusion operation. Applicants must meet physical requirements and pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and

Qualifications

• Calibrating, installing, and trouble-shooting instrument systems in plant operations.
• Knowledge of electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic instruments.
• Ability to instruct Instrument Mechanic 2nd Class and work with Development Inspection Engineers.
• Pre-Employment Physical, Drug Screen, and background checks required as contingencies.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, install, and troubleshoot instrument systems across plant areas.
• Work independently, using initiative to determine maintenance needs.
• Instruct Instrument Mechanic 2nd Class when needed.
• Receive training in instruments and procedures specific to the gaseous diffusion operation.
