Job summary

Celgard, LLC is seeking an Instrument & Electrical Technician for the Charlotte, NC plant. You will join the Maintenance team on the night shift (7pm-7am) on a 2-2-3 schedule, reporting to the I&E Supervisor.

Responsibilities include calibrations, troubleshooting, installation verification, and drawing updates, with safety as a core focus. The role requires 3+ years in instrumentation and electrical work in an industrial setting, with experience in PLCs, drives, and control systems.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Associate degree or certificate in Electrical Technology highly preferred.
  • 3+ years’ industrial instrumentation & electrical experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical calibrations and preventative maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical power systems, motor drives, and control systems.
  • Understand and safely use volt/ohm/current meters, oscilloscopes, megohmmeters.
  • Update electrical drawings and procedures as needed.
  • Train maintenance personnel on I&E systems and safety.
  • Follow Celgard safety guidelines and support a safe work culture.
