Heal the World with Kindness seeks an experienced Instrument & Controls Technician to support commissioning, system completion, turnover, and startup activities at a major LNG facility in Sabine Pass, TX. The role emphasizes hands-on I&C in LNG/gas processing environments and direct commissioning/startup experience.

Candidates will read P&IDs, perform calibrations, loop checks, and coordinate with Operations, Engineering, and Construction for startup readiness while ensuring safety

Qualifications

• 5+ years of I&C experience in LNG or similar process facilities
• Hands-on commissioning/startup experience

• Experience with GE Mark VI / Mark VIe turbine control systems
• Ability to read P&IDs, loop drawings, and control narratives

We are seeking an experienced Instrument & Controls Technician to support commissioning, system completion, turnover, and startup activities at a major LNG facility.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on I&C experience in LNG, gas processing, cryogenic, or similar process facilities, with direct commissioning/startup experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and oversee loop checks, instrument calibration, functional testing, and commissioning
• Support Mark VI turbine control systems, DCS, and field instrumentation
• Troubleshoot and resolve instrumentation and control system issues during commissioning and startup
• Verify instrumentation systems are installed and tested according to project specifications and procedures
• Support system completion, turnover, punch closure, and Operations acceptance
• Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, Construction, and Commissioning teams to ensure startup readiness
• Support turbine and process unit startup activities
• Work with online analyzers, including gas chromatographs, moisture, and gas-quality analyzers
• Interpret P&IDs, loop drawings, and control narratives
• Verify preservation, protection, documentation, and readiness of instrumentation and analyzers
• Support regulatory and operational testing and maintain required records

• Experience with online analyzers / gas chromatographs / moisture / gas-quality analyzers
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, loop drawings, and control narratives
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a live plant/startup environment
• Knowledge of instrumentation installation and applicable industry standards
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and procedural compliance
