Job summary

Luminant Generation Company LLC in Granbury, Texas is seeking an Instrument & Control Technician to calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain critical plant instrumentation and control systems, ensuring safe operation of a Natural Gas Power Plant and BESS. The role requires hands-on electrical skills, calibration expertise, and willingness to cover start-up, shutdown, and operator shifts as needed.

The successful candidate will work with DCS, PLCs, and Maximo, and participate in safety briefings

Qualifications

• Must troubleshoot electrical circuits and perform calibrations on instrumentation.
• Experience with power plant instrumentation including transmitters and valves is a plus.
• Familiarity with plant control systems and data entry in MAXIMO.

Responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of a Natural Gas Power Plant and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS).**Job Description****Responsibilities:*** Perform work incorporating strict adherence to Safety procedures and best practices and continually observe for safe working practices.* Regularly develops and presents safety topics.* Develop an understanding of HPI tools through training opportunities and practice.
