A leading company in the petrochemical industry is seeking an Instrumentation and Electrical (I&E) Technician. You will troubleshoot, maintain, and install various instrumentation and electrical systems within a fast-paced environment. Key qualifications include a high school diploma with a minimum of 5 years of experience, or an equivalent technical diploma, alongside essential certifications.
Trouble-shoot, calibrate, maintain, and install plant instrumentation and electrical systems and components. Document findings, correct drawings to reflect as-built conditions, and maintain equipment history files and logs.
Job Responsibilities:
Able to read and interpret instrument and electrical installation drawings, process plant P&ID s, wiring schematics, loop drawings, electrical one-line drawings and component assembly drawings. Able to read and follow technical manuals, specification sheets, maintenance instructions, parts bill of materials, and understand the significance of materials of construction for specific applications. Function check, diagnose, and calibration instrument sensors, transmitters, and control elements for process parameters such as temperature, flow, level, and pressure. Diagnose and maintain electrical and electronics systems and components such as relays, switches, power supplies, motor control circuits, AC/DC motors, variable speed drives, electric tracing, transformers, and wiring. Basic trouble-shooting and component replacement on control system hardware such as DCS and PLC systems. Assist in determining repairs needed by recommending replacement parts, options, and solutions. Perform other duties as assigned. Comply with all environmental, safety, and health policies and safe work practices.
