Guilford Technical Community College (GTCC) is seeking an Instructor for the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) adjunct role. The position supports student success by delivering quality instruction across SHRM topics and maintaining professional standards.

Under general supervision, you will prepare and teach SHRM courses, potentially day, evening, or weekend hours, and may teach at GTCC Greensboro, Jamestown, High Point, or Cameron campuses.

Job Description

Teaching faculty at Guilford Technical Community College areresponsible for supporting student success by creating an optimumlearning environment, responding to student needs, managingeffective instructional activities, modeling employability skills,demonstrating professionalism, developing cooperative workrelationships with other faculty and staff, supporting collegeadministrative requirements, and maintaining competency in theirinstructional field. He/she will be responsible for qualityinstruction and for effective participation and interest in thetotal affairs of the college.

Under general supervision, this individual will prepare and teach the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRMÒ) courses designedfor persons who work in the human resource field. The facultymember must be able to instruct a wide variety of topics within thecurriculum and may be required to teach day, evening and/or weekendhours. Flexibility to teach on any of GTCC multiple campuses(Greensboro, Jamestown, High Point or Cameron campus.
