Job Summary (Purpose And Function):

The Department of Ophthalmology seeks a Clinical Instructor responsible for direct patient care, night and weekend on-call duties, and staffing residents in clinics and the operating room. The instructor will also assist in teaching and training residents within our Ophthalmic Training Program. Candidates must have an M.D. degree, completed an accredited residency in ophthalmology in the U.S., and be board certified or eligible, with a valid Florida Medical License or Medical Faculty Certificate.

This list of duties is not exhaustive and may expand as necessary.

Supervision Exercised:

Clinical Instructors supervise and train junior residents and students in clinical tasks.
