General Dynamics Electric Boat seeks an experienced training administrator for nuclear-related programs. You will implement approved curricula, evaluate trainees, and develop training packages for multiple courses including PRCS and supervisor-level programs.

The role requires robust experience in Nuclear/Radiological operations, ability to interface with cross-functional teams, and proficiency with MS Office and LMS tools.

Formación

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 8+ years of Nuclear or Radiological Operations experience.
• Qualification as PRCS/SRCT/RCT preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Administer training programs (Production Radiological Controls Supervisor, Cleanliness Training for Supervisors, Mixed Waste Manager, Nuclear Supervisor Administrative Training).
• Follow approved lesson plans and evaluate student performance.
• Develop training packages and conduct jobsite training validations.
• Participate in drills and training exercises; report on performance.

Overview

This position reports to the Chief of Nuclear Trade Training and will be responsible for the administration of the following training programs:

• Production Radiological Controls Supervisor
• Cleanliness Training for Supervisors
• Mixed Waste Manager
• Nuclear Supervisor Administrative Training

They will be required to follow approved lesson plans, perform examinations / evaluations of student performance and report on their performance. Other duties include the development of training packages, participation in training exercises (drills), and conducting jobsite training validations.

Applicant will be expected to:

• Qualify as a Radiation Worker.
• Qualify as a Production Radiological Controls Supervisor (PRCS).
• Interface with Radiological Controls, Engineering, Operations Management, Audit and Assessment, and local Naval Reactors personnel to ensure procedural compliance and overall quality.
• Oversee the maintenance of lesson plans of various trade skills and subject matter.

Qualifications

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Current or previous qualification as a Production Radiological Controls Supervisor (PRCS), Supervisor Radiological Controls Technician (SRCT), or Radiological Controls Technician (RCT)
• 8+ years of experience in Nuclear or Radiological Operations

Preferred Requirements

• Experience administering and monitoring within Cornerstone Learning Management System
• Previous experience in curriculum development

Skills

• Competent in MS Office suite (Word, Power Point, Excel)
• Ability to communicate to all levels of Tradespeople, Supervision, and Management
• Data analysis and technical writing to generate reports and assessments
