Great Lakes Institute of Technology in Erie, PA, seeks passionate Medical Assistant instructors to teach in the Medical Assistant program. This is a hands-on, career-focused role with a commitment to student success and skill development.

Full-time and part-time positions are available; teaching schedules include day/evening hours and on-campus sessions. Requires at least 3 years of medical assisting experience and current CMA certification, plus a customer-service oriented approach.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 3 years as a medical assistant or medical office manager.
• Current Clinical Medical Assistant certification.
• Proven customer service skills and ability to use Microsoft Office and video conferencing.
• Willingness to commute or relocate before starting.

Responsabilidades

• Assist students in hands-on learning in medical assistant procedures, lab procedures, and patient care.
• Knowledge of anatomy and terminology.
• Experience with electronic recordkeeping and medical billing is a plus.
• Monitor student attendance and progress reports.
• Adhere to accreditation standards, school policies, and approved curriculum.
• Teaching schedule is in-person on campus.

We are seeking passionate professionals excited to give back to their career field. We are seeking those with a calling to make a difference in the lives of students as instructors in Medical Assistant program. This is a great opportunity to teach the next generation in the highly technical skills required in this field.

Position: Full-time and Part-time Positions available

Schedule: Day and/or evening hours available

Teaching schedule: Mondays -Thursday with Friday as Teacher in-service.

Compensation is negotiable based on experience.

• Assist students in hand-on learning in medical assistant procedures, lab procedures, and patient care
• Knowledge of anatomy and terminology
• Experience with electronic recordkeeping and medical billing a plus
• Monitor student records of attendance and progress reports
• Strict adherence to all accreditation standards, school policies, and approved curriculum
• Teaching schedule is in-person on campus.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a medical assistant or medical office manager
• Must have current Clinical Medical Assistant certification
• Must have a proven record of customer service skills as well as the ability to demonstrate knowledge of Microsoft applications & video conferencing.
• Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
