The College of Southern Nevada (CSN) is seeking a full‑time, tenure‑track Instructor to teach college‑level Mathematics courses. The successful candidate will demonstrate an understanding of the mission and philosophy of a community college and the ability to adapt to a flexible schedule across multiple locations, modalities, and times, including in‑person classes. Applicants are encouraged to use their cover letter to highlight their teaching experience, approach to instruction, and relevant qualifications.
A master’s degree in mathematics, statistics, or a related field from a regionally accredited college or university. Any qualifying degree must contain at least eighteen (18) credits in graduate‑level mathematics and/or statistics courses.
Initial salary placement is based on educational level and total years of full‑time equivalent teaching experience. For example, an instructor with a master’s degree would have a salary range of $58,046 to $74,304 annually. The maximum salary is $89,166 annually for an instructor with a doctorate and 10 years of experience. A maximum of 10 years of experience will be considered for initial salary placement.
This position is contingent upon ongoing and available funding. Bargaining unit faculty members hired are eligible for reimbursement of relocation expenses in accordance with the College of Southern Nevada NFA Contract 2022-2025.
