Job summary

Per Scholas is seeking an experienced instructor for a Low-Voltage Fiber Technician program. The role focuses on delivering hands-on labs, teaching copper and fiber cabling, and guiding adult learners toward industry certifications.

Ideal candidates bring CFOT and OSHA/NFPA70E credentials, strong safety acumen, and proficiency with Salesforce and Canvas LMS. The position supports in-person and hybrid delivery across lab environments and jobsite simulations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with low-voltage installation and related cabling.
• Ability to teach adults and run labs.
• Commitment to safety and OSHA NFPA70E.
• Strong documentation and lab management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led training for AI-enhanced low-voltage fiber technician to prepare learners for entry-level roles.
• Facilitate hands-on labs in copper and fiber cabling, labeling, testing, and documentation.
• Teach concepts for Cat5E/Cat6/Cat6A cabling and fiber optic practices.
• Model jobsite safety and support OSHA 10 General Industry & NFPA 70E readiness.
• Lead labs on construction-adjacent tasks and lab readiness.
• Maintain learner records in Salesforce, Canvas LMS, and other platforms.
