Position Summary

The University of Southern Indiana’s Management and Information Sciences Department, housed in the Romain College of Business, invites applications for a 9-month, renewable Instructor in Computer Science. The appointment will begin Fall 2024.

Duties/Responsibilities

This position will teach a broad range of undergraduate courses in computer science such as introductory and intermediate object-oriented programming in C#, programming languages, data structures and algorithms, operating systems, and software development.

Required Knowledge and Skills

Qualified candidates must hold a master’s degree in computer science, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

About the Department

The Department of Management and Information Sciences is home to approximately 8 Computer Science and Computer Information Systems faculty members and approximately 300 undergraduate students who together span a range of experience and research areas in computer science and computer information systems. Housed in the Romain College of Business, the Department of Management and Information Sciences is uniquely situated to offer students exposure to broad computing issues as well as practical business practices.
