Job summary

ClancyJG International is hiring a full-time Field Instructor II to train air traffic controllers at the Albuquerque ARTCC (ZAB) in Albuquerque, NM. This role is for an experienced en route controller who wants to teach and mentor the next generation, with flexible scheduling from full-time to part-time and casual to accommodate life.

You will deliver classroom and simulation-lab training, mentor students and Remote Pilot Operators, and help build courseware.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of CPC experience controlling live traffic, or recent experience as a contract instructor at an FAA facility.
• En route experience at an ARTCC. ZAB is an Air Route Traffic Control Center, so we are looking for en route center experience.
• Simulation Laboratory Certification.
• Working familiarity with personal computers, operating systems, and application software equivalent to what the FAA uses.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Suitability/Public Trust background clearance

This is currently a full-time role for an experienced en route controller who wants to teach and bring along the next group coming up through the boards. This job comes with the flexibility to adjust your schedule from full-time to part-time and/or casual to easily accomdate your personal life circumstances and availbility.

You will deliver classroom and simulation-lab training to developmental controllers and Certified Professional Controllers (CPCs), mentor students and Remote Pilot Operators (RPOs), and help build the courseware itself.

What you'll do
