Job summary

ClancyJG International is seeking a full-time Field Instructor II to train air traffic controllers at Albuquerque Air Route Traffic Control Center in New Mexico. The role allows flexibility from full-time to part-time to accommodate personal circumstances.

The ideal candidate will have extensive CPC experience, simulation lab certification, and proficiency with software used by the FAA. This position plays a crucial role in developing and mentoring the next generation of air traffic controllers.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of CPC experience controlling live traffic or recent experience as a contract instructor at an FAA facility.
• En route experience at an ARTCC.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Suitability/Public Trust background clearance.

Responsibilities

• Run and support classroom and simulation courses at FAA field sites.
• Mentor developmental controllers, CPCs, and RPOs.
• Contribute to Instructional Systems Design work.

ClancyJG International is hiring a full-time Field Instructor II to train air traffic controllers at the Albuquerque Air Route Traffic Control Center (ZAB) in Albuquerque, NM. This is currently a full-time role for an experienced en route controller who wants to teach and bring along the next group coming up through the boards. This job comes with the flexibility to adjust your schedule from full-time to part-time and/or casual to easily accommodate your personal life circumstances and availability.

What You'll Do

• Run and support classroom and simulation courses at FAA field sites
• Mentor developmental controllers, CPCs, and RPOs
• Contribute to Instructional Systems Design (ISD) work: developing, revising, and maintaining ATC training courses and building scenarios

What You Need

• Five or more years of CPC experience controlling live traffic, or recent experience as a contract instructor at an FAA facility
• En route experience at an ARTCC. ZAB is an Air Route Traffic Control Center, so we are looking for en route center experience
• Simulation Laboratory Certification
• Working familiarity with personal computers, operating systems, and application software equivalent to what the FAA uses
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Suitability/Public Trust background clearance
