We have an opening for a Non-Renewable Term Instructor (English) in the Humanities and Fine Arts Division for a one-year appointment at our Chattanooga campus!
Under the supervision of the Department Head and/or Lead Faculty, the Non-Renewable Term Instructor will develop and teach courses in English Composition, including creating course materials, lessons, assignments, and assessments. The instructor will apply current instructional methodologies and best practices to support student learning and engagement while fostering a positive learning environment. Additional responsibilities include participating in scheduled college, divisional, professional development, and in-service activities as needed.
Appointment Term: This is a one-academic-year appointment and is not eligible for renewal.
The successful applicant will possess evidence of quality composition instruction and student support.
Salary Range: $41,763 - $51,154
