Texas State Technical College (TSTC) seeks an experienced instructor to deliver approved curriculum in an applied learning environment. You will mentor students, assess performance, and integrate technology to enrich instruction, including evening/weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Be able to read wiring diagrams, perform resistance checks, and measure voltage drops.
• Check and adjust all fluid levels and perform tire pressure monitoring system service.
• Repair and rebuild engines and perform steering and suspension repairs.
• Service and repair brake systems including ABS and HVAC systems (134a & 1234yf).
• 5+ years of diesel-industry experience; supervisory/teaching experience is a plus.

Responsibilities include facilitation of activities and discussions that engage a range of learning styles with targeted guidance and mentorship to students.Faculty will also interpret and administer assessments, and offer constructive feedback to support student growth and learning outcomes.
