Aleut Federal, LLC is seeking an Instructor Developer IV to create, deliver, and validate cyberspace operations course materials at the 537th Training Squadron, Peterson SFB CO, in support of the USSF OTC. The role requires expert Windows and cyber fundamentals knowledge and the ability to instruct in-residence and remote sessions.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with 10+ years of cyber experience, TS clearance, and demonstrated instructional skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 10+ years cyber experience.
• Minimum 10 years of cyber-related experience.
• Certification and training in cyber operations are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, qualify on, and deliver cyberspace operations course materials.

General Duties:

Aleut is in search of a highly motivated individual to develop, instruct, validate, and maintain cyberspace operations course material at the 537th Training Squadron, Peterson SFB CO in support of the USSF Officer Training Course (OTC).

Specific duties:

• Develop, qualify on, and deliver in-residence cyberspace operations course materials (lessons and laboratories) consistent with the principles of Instructional Systems Design (ISD), and aligned to 537 TRS instructions, security classification guides, and other guidance as identified
• Interface with internal and external cyber agencies as required to update and maintain a state-of-the-art training program regarding cyber tactics, tools, and exploits
• Coordinate instructional activities with the contract task lead and government personnel
• Instructional delivery: Conduct live, instructor-led training sessions—both in-person and remote—ensuring a positive and effective learning experience.
• Serve as a technical authority on Cyber Fundamentals/Windows-related questions and provide guidance and consultation to both students and internal teams.
• Assess learners’ progress and provide meaningful and relevant feedback, mentoring and support
• Develop, update and maintain training materials, lab exercises, assessments and learning resources
• Partner with instructional designers, tasks leads to ensure delivery of high-quality training solutions
• Additional duties – as assigned
• Work on-site – minimal telework authorized

Required Skills:

• Possess expert knowledge and experience in Computer Basics, Network Infrastructure, Cables, Cloud Environment and Windows
• Demonstrated knowledge in Windows Operating System, Active Directory, Group Policy & PowerShell
• Possess in-depth, hands-on experience with a variety of Windows and Linux operating systems
• Possess expert knowledge and experience with general cyberspace operations
• Possess working knowledge of and experience with Cyber operational-level command and control constructs
• Skilled communicator, experienced in providing platform instruction to an academically diverse audience. Completion of Air Force Instructor Course or similar joint/civilian instructor course preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
• Active or current Top-Secret Clearance and SCI eligibility required

Education and Required Experience:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in relevant field or a bachelor’s degree and 8 years of additional experience may be substituted for education requirement

Years of Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years of cyber-related experience either in industry, academia, or with a U.S. Government agency

Preferred Certifications:

• Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) certification, CompTIA Sec+, CompTIA Net+
• Transcript from certified training program (CompTIA, Hack-the-Box, TryHackMe, etc.)

Salary Range:

• $120,000 -- $140,000 (annually)
