Clay Today is seeking an Instructor for Computer & Information Technology (Reg FT, 10-month) at the Main Campus. The role focuses on teaching IT courses and developing curriculum within a fully in-person setting.

The primary responsibilities include delivering engaging instruction and advancing student outcomes through robust course design and assessment. A bachelor's degree in IT or related field is required; a master's degree is preferred along with relevant industry certifications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Science, Computer Science or related technology field; expert knowledge across networks, OS, cybersecurity, programming and web development.
  • Master's degree preferred; two years teaching or related work experience; recognized industry certifications beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Teach courses and develop curriculum.
  • Create and deliver learning experiences to help students meet outcomes.
  • Employ effective teaching methods to maintain engaging learning environments.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback for growth.
  • Participate in program and curriculum development and reviews.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and integrate educational technology in teaching.
  • Maintain weekly office hours as required by the CBA.
  • Contribute to department, campus and college meetings and committees.
