The University of Cincinnati Department of Neurosurgery is seeking a Clinical Instructor for a one-year, CAST-Accredited fellowship (Non-ACGME) in Neurotrauma. The Neurotrauma Fellowship offers advanced training of post-residency neurosurgeons in the field of neurotrauma. The yearly curriculum includes a wide range of neurotrauma pathologies including the traumatic brain injury (TBI) spectrum from concussion through severe TBI, spinal cord injury, osseous spinal column injuries, and polytrauma with neurological injury. Fellows will have opportunity to learn advanced patient care in our world-class Neurosciences ICU, including neurocritical care management and multimodality neuromonitoring. An integral component of the fellowship is clinical neurotrauma research, program improvement projects, and leadership development to prepare the fellow to be a future Neurotrauma Director.
