Job summary

Management & Training Corporation (MTC) operates the Earle C. Clements Job Corps Center in Morganfield, KY. We seek a qualified instructor to provide academic and career technical instruction per approved curricula, offering guidance to help students reach their goals.

Responsibilities include directing students, counseling on behavior and study habits, and coordinating with counselors. A High School diploma and CDL-A license are required, along with state licensure as applicable.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and three (3) years related work experience.
• Certified, licensed, or accredited in the state of employment by a professional trade organization.
• Must have a current CDL-A license with a clean driving record.

• Motivate and counsel students in areas of behavior, training, personal problems, or study habits.
• Coordinate with counselors and staff as necessary to resolve issues affecting student training and/ or instruction.
• Develop and prepare lessons in accordance with approved curriculum guidelines, recommend curricula changes and supplemental materials.
• Maintain organized, clean, and safe training environment.
• Participate in student assessment panels, perform required documentation and evaluation using CIS (Center Information System) and other documentation systems.

What you will be doing:

You’ll be responsible the academic and career technical trade instruction per approved curricula. They will provide training and basic guidance and direction to help students achieve their academic and trade goals.
