Indian Hills Community College invites an Adult Education instructor to deliver direct instruction for literacy classes, including potential online formats. You will administer assessments, maintain records, and contribute to orientation and enrollment processes.
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with teaching experience preferred, and a commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and serving diverse student populations within the Adult Education program.
Under limited supervision, this position provides instruction to Adult Education and Literacy students. This instructor will provide direct and explicit instruction for assigned classes, keep accurate and timely attendance records, and administer assessments. Classes may include high school equivalency level math, science, social studies, and language arts.
