The Instructor is a non-tenure track faculty appointment in the Department of Industrial Engineering within the Operations Management and Engineering Management Graduate Programs. The primary responsibilities include teaching graduate and undergraduate prerequisite courses online. Specific duties encompass designing courses, constructing syllabi, developing curriculum materials, writing and administering exams, advising and evaluating students, serving on faculty committees, reviewing comprehensive examination presentations, mentoring adjunct faculty, and participating in professional societies. The instructor may also teach executive education or workforce development courses. This position mainly involves online teaching and remote work in accordance with the University of Arkansas Policy on Flexible Work Arrangements, including Remote Work. An essential requirement is the ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with students, staff, and colleagues.
