The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, heat and mass transfer, and related fields. Instructors have a commitment to the instructional mission of the department, with a primary focus on undergraduate teaching, curricular and program development, and the design and integration of innovative pedagogy.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must hold a PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline by the start time of their appointment.

Preferred Qualifications

Teaching experience as the lead instructor in mechanical engineering undergraduate courses is preferred.
