Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled video content producer to design and deliver instructional videos for SaaS and tech education. You will lead editing, motion design, and SCORM packaging, working with subject matter experts and designers to craft engaging curricula.

You will manage multiple projects, mentor peers in storytelling and production, and leverage AI workflows to improve quality and efficiency. This is a hands-on, collaborative role focused on delivering high-impact learning experiences.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in video editing, motion design, or instructional media creation.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects), Camtasia, and animation tools (Blender).
• Demonstrated ability to create original instructional scripts, media assets, and visual narratives that support defined learning objectives.
• Familiarity with LMS platforms and SCORM-compliant packaging.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills across multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to leverage large language models (LLMs), custom GPTs, or AI workflows to enhance instructional and production efficiency.
• Experience within SaaS, restaurant, or technology education contexts.
• Background in instructional design or learning and development.
• Experience mentoring peers in storytelling, visual design, or production processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and create custom instructional videos
• Design and create custom content videos including animations and motion graphics
• Develop, create, and package SCORM-compliant curriculum
• Create and author scripts, narration, and on-screen text that simplify complex product concepts
• Collaborate with instructional designers to develop storyboards aligned with instructional intent and video creation
• Scope and manage multiple concurrent projects, determining level of effort, timelines, and sequencing to meet deadlines
• Organize and manage project assets, including footage and production libraries, for version control and efficient reuse
• Update project milestones, task progress, and PSA records for team alignment and reporting
• Manage AI-assisted workflows to streamline production and improve quality
• Collaborate cross-functionally with editors, instructional designers, and project leads to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Meet or exceed billable deliverable and utilization targets
• Complete assigned deliverables accurately and on schedule
• Deliver custom video content within estimated level of effort and defined quality standards
• Successfully implement instructional design parameters
• Perform other duties as assigned
