Petersburg City Public Schools seeks an Instructional Technology Resource Teacher (ITRT) to lead the division’s effort to integrate technology into the instructional program. You will train teachers in effective use of digital resources to enhance daily instruction and help students responsibly access and synthesize information using technology.

You will model technology-enhanced instruction, collaborate with staff, and align activities with Virginia Standards of Learning and local pacing

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree required for teaching position.
• Minimum of three years of successful full-time teaching in core content areas.
• Virginia Collegiate Professional License required; post-graduate license preferred or eligibility.

• Lead integration of technology into instruction aligned to Standards of Learning.
• Co‑plan and co‑teach lessons to model technology use in classrooms.
• Provide daily training and monitoring of technology use by teachers and students.
• Assist in selecting developmentally appropriate technology to support diverse learners.
• Deliver technology professional development workshops and in‑services.
• Assess proficiency and provide differentiated support to teachers.
• Model effective instructional strategies using technology.
• Support data collection and analysis using technology to improve instruction.
