The PositionThe Instructional Technologist actively promotes the use of existing and new technology to enhance learning, teaching, and research experiences for faculty and staff. They consult and work closely with faculty to propose, develop, and implement technology projects, providing training for and facilitating student-centered course design (face-to-face and online) that includes technological applications. They create opportunities for faculty and IT staff to share ideas about how technology can be used to enhance teaching, advising, and scholarship. They provide ongoing support to faculty and staff, and maintenance for major instructional technology initiatives, academic software, and assignments and assessments involving technology. The technologist monitors technological trends and developments, ensuring that the College's instructional technology is up to date, secure, effective, user-friendly, and reliable.
