Job summary

Linchpin Solutions, Inc. is seeking an Instructional Systems Designer to support the Marine Corps eLearning Ecosystem (MCeLE) in Quantico, VA. The ISD will create engaging learning experiences and training programs using the ADDIE framework.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and 3–10 years of ISD experience, with Moodle and LMS operations experience preferred. Onsite M-F; active DoD Secret Clearance eligible.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
• Ability to give presentations and briefings as needed.
• Experience with Moodle and LMS operations.
• Develop curriculum, lead live demonstrations, and assist with user testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop curriculum and maintain course materials.
• Validate instructional design delivering instructor-led, synchronous and asynchronous delivery.
• Perform curriculum reviews and multimedia enhancements.
• Lead live demonstrations and user testing with Academic Officers.

Role Overview The Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) supports the Marine Corps eLearning Ecosystem (MCeLE), the official distance learning and education network for the U.S. Marine Corps. The ISD is responsible for creating effective, engaging learning experiences and training programs using the ADDIE framework.

General Skillset

• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work both collaboratively and individually
• Critical Thinking Skills
• Ability to give presentations and briefings as needed
• Ability to safeguard and maintain electronic files

Specific Skillset

• Develop curriculum, lead live demonstrations, and assist Academic Officers with conducting user testing
• Extensive ISD expertise to validate the technical performance of instructor-led, synchronous, and asynchronous delivery
• Develop, instruct, revise, and maintain course materials
• Perform curriculum reviews, courseware development, and multimedia enhancements
• Other duties as assigned
