Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• AA degree or 60 college credits or approved exam required.
• Experience in K-12 public education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher in planning and implementing activities for individual students.
• Follow a lesson plan created by teacher(s) and/or instructional assistant.
• Moves about classroom to help students and provide support.
• Assist the teacher in evaluating the progress of students.
• Assist teacher in maintaining confidentiality and FERPA compliance.
• Maintain adequate and legible records concerning students.
