Job summary

Gresham-Barlow School District 10J is seeking an Instructional Assistant to support licensed staff by planning and delivering instructional activities for students not in categorical programs. You will assist with supervision, clerical tasks, and classroom materials under the direction of teachers.

Qualifications

Prior experience with supervising and instructing students is preferred.
Completed associate or higher degree or two years of higher education with knowledge of reading, writing, and mathematics.
Criminal background clearance and First Aid/CPR required.

Responsibilities

Works under the guidance of licensed staff to provide instructional support and tutoring to students in large, small, and one-on-one settings.
Assists with assessment, supports curriculum implementation, and enforces safe behaviors.
Performs basic clerical tasks (scheduling, word processing, records) to support teachers and student files.
Communicates with teachers to provide feedback on student performance and progress.
Assists with transportation needs and ensures a safe learning environment.
