Upon interview selection, candidate requirements are as follows: Fingerprints, Verification of freedom of Tuberculosis, Verification of Covid-19 Vaccine, and I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification. A pre-requisite for employment as an Instructional Assistant is the proof of passing the Instructional Assistant Proficiency Test for the Napa Valley Unified School District. Exceptions to taking the test are: Possession of a current California Teaching Credential, possession of an AA degree or higher, at least 48 units, or passing the CBEST (California Basic Education Skills Test).
