Job summary

Duncan Public Schools is seeking a Teacher Assistant - Reading Tutor Paraprofessional to support daily instructional activities in a Reading program. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Candidates may have 48 college credit hours, an associate degree, or have passed OGET or PARAPRO tests.

Responsibilities

• Work cooperatively with the classroom teacher in implementing the instructional program.
• Help children develop positive feelings about themselves and school.
• Serve as a model in developing language and behavior.
• Prepare instructional materials and aids for instruction.
• Supervise activities and assist with field trips and testing.
