Job summary

The Ferguson-Florissant School District in Missouri is seeking an Instructional Paraprofessional to provide instructional support under certified teachers, assisting in delivering services and promoting student learning both in and out of the classroom.

The position is a 10-month contract with a starting salary of $30,000 per year, contingent on education, experience and MO DESE certification requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 60 semester hours of college credit with a certified transcript on file.
• Passed the ParaPro® Assessment.
• Completed Missouri’s 20-hour substitute training program.
• Experience working with children required.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support under the direct supervision of appropriately certified teachers.
• Assist in the delivery of services and support student learning by performing a variety of duties both in and out of the classroom setting.

The Ferguson-Florissant School District is a community of families and neighborhoods located in suburban St. Louis, MO. Position Overview Reports To: Building Principal

Employment Terms: This is a 10-month (187-day), at-will position. Compensation is based on the allocation of funds in alignment to the School Improvement Grant. Continued employment is subject to annual evaluation in alignment with this job description and is contingent upon the annual allocation of federal funding for the position.

FLSA: Non-Exempt

Retirement: PEERS

Salary: $30,000 per year, based on education, experience, and certifications

Calendar: 10-month contract (August-May)

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
