• Support students with a variety of academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and developmental needs.
• Promote student independence while providing appropriate levels of assistance and supervision.
• Assist students in participating in routines, transitions, lunch, recess, arrival, and dismissal as assigned.
• Implement proactive behavior-management strategies and support positive student behavior.
• Collect and record student data as directed by certified professional staff.
• Provide teachers and other professionals with relevant, objective information regarding student performance and behavior.
• Maintain student confidentiality and demonstrate professional and ethical conduct at all times.
• Follow all district policies, school procedures, safety protocols, and staff directives.
• Maintain consistent and reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the building principal, classroom teacher, or appropriate designee.
