Job description

Linxx Global is currently seeking an Instructional Material Specialist in support of the CNRFC N73 Learning Standards office, including support to the Air Logistics Training Center (ALTC) Learning Standards Office. This position is located in Norfolk, VA, and Fort Worth, TX.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct training evaluation, review, and research to design and develop instruction to enhance Navy Reserve personnel training worldwide.
  • Develop and design course curricula following established guidelines and standards.
  • Support the Learning Standards Officer (LSO) as the CCA for Navy Reserve formal training programs.
  • Analyze objectives to support mission and readiness goals, assessing their impact on future training and equipment needs.
  • Provide curriculum recommendations based on Formal Course Review procedures and field analysis.
  • Assist training sites with the development, submission, and approval of all course curriculum documents, including directives and instructions.
  • Maintain comprehensive files of all curriculum and supporting documentation.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Knowledge of NETC programs, policies, procedures, instructional systems design, and Navy curricula development according to NAVEDTRA standards.
  • Ability to perform data entry for approved course information into electronic systems as required by CNRFC and higher authorities.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as an Instructional Material Specialist.
  • Secret Clearance.
  • Proficiency in Authoring Instructional Materials (AIM) and Content Planning Module/Learning Object (CPM/LO).
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat Professional, Microsoft Office MAC 2016 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and Catalog of Navy Training Courses (CANTRAC).
