Job summary

Shelby County Schools in Tennessee seeks an instructional facilitator to enhance on-site instructional programs across selected schools. The role focuses on increasing effectiveness of teaching, improving use of instructional materials, and aligning activities with the schools' instructional goals.

Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor's degree, TN Teacher's Certificate, and five years of teaching experience; a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction or Educational Leadership is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Master's Degree preferred in Curriculum and Instruction and/or Administrative & Supervision (Educational Leadership).
  • Five (5) years of demonstrated successful teaching experience.
  • Valid Tennessee Teacher's Certificate and meet the definition of 'highly qualified'.
  • Grade-related Endorsements required (PROOF OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND/OR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED)

Purpose and Scope

Summary Description

Performs as an instructional facilitator in selected schools to increase effectiveness of on-site instructional programs, to improve utilization of instructional materials, to promote development, implementation and coordination of the school's instructional goals.

Minimum Qualifications
