Role Overview

Are you an Instructional Designer who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys tackling ambiguity, and loves turning complexity into clarity? At AuditBoard, we’re on a mission to empower our customers through engaging, role-specific learning experiences. We’re looking for someone to help shape how our customers learn, grow, and succeed.

In this role, you will build training content from scratch, aligned with product updates, and improve our ongoing learning experiences. You should bring initiative, curiosity, and confidence to work independently, with 3-5 years of Instructional Design experience, a flexible mindset, and a willingness to learn new tools and industry trends.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design effective, engaging, and high-quality self-paced content for adult learners
  • Create learning objectives and course curriculum in collaboration with SMEs for external audiences
  • Develop scripts, tutorials, walkthroughs, and certifications for online learning
  • Maintain and enhance course materials, including visual aids and graphics
  • Create supplementary materials like tutorials and interactive exercises
  • Develop and assess learning assessments aligned with objectives
  • Evaluate the educational effectiveness of courses
  • Manage course lifecycle and updates
  • Collaborate across teams to address educational gaps
  • Assist with LMS administration as needed
  • Report on metrics to measure content effectiveness
Qualifications
  • 3-5+ years of Instructional Design experience
  • Experience creating self-service training content
  • Learning Management System administration experience
  • Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Camtasia, Articulate)
  • Experience in video creation and editing
  • Graphic design skills (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)
  • Knowledge of adult learning best practices
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Preferred Skills
  • Prior software training experience
  • Front-end development skills
